APC denounces fake membership slip featuring terrorist Turji

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the public to disregard a fake membership slip circulating online that falsely claimed notorious terrorist Mohammed Bello Turji was registered as a party member.

The National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka, on Tuesday in a statement described the document as a deliberate fabrication with no connection to its official membership records.

“The membership slip is a fabrication, fake and without any association or link, whatsoever, with our membership register and database,” Morka said.

According to him, the slip contained clearly false information, including a purported registration in a nonexistent “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area in Zamfara State, which actually has only 10 wards. Morka emphasized that all other details on the slip are equally fictitious.

He urged party members and the general public to ignore the document entirely, reiterating that it bears no resemblance to the party’s electronic membership and validation records.

Morka noted that its ongoing electronic membership registration and validation exercise remains secure and verifiable through official APC channels.

He said, “We urge all Party faithful and the general public to disregard the highly offensive document in its entirety.”
