Ex-councillors forum endorse AMAC/Bwari rep for second term

A group of former councillors under the aegis of Abuja ex-Councillors Collective, have endorsed the House of Reps member for AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinedu Obika, for second term.

The group in a statement on Sunday by its spokesman, Hon. Charles Ogedi, said returning Obika for second term will not only deepen legislative continuity, but will promote inclusion and build on the Rep’s track record of achievements.

“Hon. Chinedu Obika has demonstrated an unwavering resolve to champion the interests and aspirations of the people of the AMAC and Bwari Federal Constituency through effective legislative policies and initiatives.

“A truly transformative leader, Hon. Obika has continued to relate with the grassroots, engaging with students like the leadership of both AMAC Student Association (ASA) and Student Association of Bwari Area Council (SABAC) as proof of his commitment to the well-being and education of students in the constituency.

“He has also initiated and carried out free medical outreaches, facilitated employment for both the indigenous peoples and other Nigerians. He continues to demonstrate that leadership is all about service and staying in touch with your constituents.

“Beyond these, the reelection of Hon. Obika will further cement the principle that the FCT is a melting pot for all Nigerians as it is evident that he not only has the pedigree, but a loyal party man.

“We reiterate that AMAC and Bwari Federal Constituency deserve leadership that delivers, represents, and stands with the people. Together, we move forward with proven impact, stronger voices, and better opportunities for all.

“We, therefore, urge the leadership of the APC in line with President Bola Tinubu’s directive, return Hon. Obika unopposed as the party’s flag bearer in the 2027 election for AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency,” the statement said.
